The Romerijo Group is a family business, established for more than 55 years (since 1952) dedicated to buying, handling, preparing and selling shellfish and fish, as well as being in the hotel and restaurant business. The name itself is an institution when it comes to shellfish (raw and cooked) and fried fish, as well as being a gastronomic reference point and a lure for tourists in its home town, El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz).

To say El Puerto de Santa María is to say Romerijo. We are proud to champion our town, represent it and form a part of it. Romerijo gives its name to one of the main streets, and our product, shellfish, forms part of the name of one of the town's wide thoroughfares "La Rivera del Marisco" (The Shellfish Stream").

Coming to El Puerto means coming to Romerijo to enjoy fine shellfish, fried whitebait and fabulous tapas, at the bar or table, on the terrace or in the dining room, always accompanied by our famous fish cones.
